The U.S. national debt is on track to hit 100 trillion dollars by 2050 at this current rate of increase. We sit at 39 trillion right now and we are adding about 7.2 billion dollars every single day. When it reaches 100 trillion the annual interest payments will be between 4 and 6 trillion dollars per year. Possibly more. That is not spending money. That is tribute paid to bond holders while the country burns. The CBO already shows the debt exploding and interest costs doubling then doubling again under current policy. Washington keeps borrowing and spending like this can continue forever. It cannot. This is not fiscal management. This is treason. Your children and grandchildren get the bill.
