First start of my college career in the books. 3.2IP 5H 2R 0BB 6Ks Had a controlled pitch limit of 50 and ended up throwing 69% strikes (54/37) Collecting strikeouts and in the zone on 3 different pitches.

Struggling with your pickoff move as a lefty? 🤔 Here are 3 keys to clean it up👇🏼 1️⃣ Control your peak leg lift Find a stable position you can repeat every time. 2️⃣ Own your weight distribution Stay stacked under yourself—slight move toward home, not drifting to first. 3️⃣ Use your head to create deception Your head movement is what makes runners hesitate—sell home or snap to first. Yes, some guys will go on first movement when they get the green light to steal, but as a lefty, you see everything. If they commit—go get the free out. Make sure the throw leads the first basemen into their throwing lane to make the clean throw to second base. After catch play, rep it. Master it.
