Not only were majority of Finns supporting NATO membership, but nearly all MP's opposing it lost their seats in 2023 elections. Russian treachery is not taken lighly here as we have centuries of experience.

We cannot send personnel overseas to rescue citizens without SC approval currently. Not to evacuate them in case of a war or even an environmental disaster like the greek wildfires. We rely on eu countries who obviously will put their own citizens as the priority.

The goal should have stood, the player not sent off & no one could have reasonably objected, with football the winner.

@Ailinocochlain Securing a modern anti drone system/aircraft/radar for SELF defence is not connected to removing the triple lock. If the government(s) had prioritised a basic defence this wouldn’t be an issue. Having defence capabilities does not mean we can’t retain neutrality.
