@EverythingWX Didn’t you have future radar on there in a previous version of the app? As someone who dislikes radar predictions, is there any way to toggle that as optional? Recognize it might be challenging in the interface

The biggest request by far has been to integrate some level of “future radar”. The next update will include the forecast HRRR reflectivity (2 hours for free tier and up to 12 hours for the pro tier).

This is the football equivalent of the Dodgers-Orioles on Saturday night, where the Dodgers were up 3-0 through 8 2/3rd innings and then lost 4-3 in the 9th. Win probability charts are almost the same, despite different sports!

Only five other storms have reached Category 5 strength within 250 miles of #Erin in history 1. Okeechobee Hurricane 1928 (160 mph) 2. Hurricane Carol 1953 (160 mph) 3. Hurricane Isabel 2003 (160 mph) 4. Hurricane Irma 2017 (180 mph) 5. Hurricane Maria 2017 (175 mph)

@Barrett_Weather Erin is definitely rapidly intensifying and I think “she” can make it to category 3 status Saturday morning. Maybe we’re gonna go to sleep tomorrow with a category 4 hurricane 🌀🫣

Two days in a row with supercells being monitored in Porto Alegre metro area by a dual pol C-band radar, but we don't have access to the imagery in real time. So we have to thank @MeteopressEN for being so kind to share a *few* images through their social network. @DefesaCivilRS

⛈️Two long-lived supercells in the Rio Grande do Sul region were captured by our weather radar in Porto Alegre yesterday. Supercells were accompanied mainly by large hail. 📡
