Announcing our $3M Raising, incubated by BASE
From the very beginning of 2023, our team made a bold bet: that options will become the largest financial market in the world, and that the future of this market must be built onchain.
Coming from TradFi institutions like Morgan Stanley, UBS, and Bank of America, we had seen firsthand the power of options, derivatives, and structured products in shaping global markets. With BaseVol, we set out to bring that expertise fully into crypto — making options accessible, transparent, and built for the next generation.
We started where even TradFi had already validated the demand: 0DTE options. Our flagship product, BaseVol.com, offers ultra-short options with high leverage and simple UX — designed for retail adoption at scale. From there, we expanded into onchain vaults, our version of structured products, where strategies generate yield in ways familiar to professionals but consumable by everyone.
By 2023–24, the pace of TradFi + DeFi convergence accelerated. Coinbase began investing heavily into derivatives and options infrastructure. At this pivotal moment, we joined Base Batches 001 and became the global 2nd prize winner. That program transformed us.
Before Base Batches, we had product-market potential but lacked the GTM partnerships to truly scale. Through Base Batches, the missing pieces clicked: Coinbase and Base provided strategic support, ecosystem connections, and access to a world-class network of investors and partners. The Base team also played a crucial role in helping us secure fundraising intros and connections, which made this milestone possible.
The impact has been profound. Together with the Base/Coinbase teams, we’ve built complementary flows between onchain retail demand (BaseVol) and offchain professional liquidity (Deribit), opening doors to deeper collaboration. We’ve partnered with forward-looking protocols like Virtuals, preparing for the coming AgentFi era. We were even invited to Network School, broadening our perspective beyond crypto and helping us think globally. We are deeply grateful for this incubation, and especially thankful to David Hyuckjae Park @davidandpassion (Base East Asia Lead) for discovering us early and helping us debut on the global stage.
Today, we’re proud to announce our next milestone: BaseVol has raised $3M.

Immediate Next Plan
Looking ahead, our focus is on the launch of our Onchain Vault next month. This vault will be managed by Agents — a new paradigm we are co-developing with Virtuals Protocol @virtuals_io, one of our newest backers/partners. These Agents will automate vault management, bridging human trading strategies and autonomous onchain execution.
The launch of our first Agent-managed vault marks the beginning of our AgentFi journey: where anyone can access sophisticated trading and yield strategies, not only through simple clicks but also through the intelligence of autonomous Agents.

The next chapter of Base starts now. Base Batches 002 is live with two tracks. STARTUP: For live products ready to scale. The top 40 teams get flown to Demo Day @ Devconnect to pitch VCs, angels, and accelerators. BUILDER: For early teams just starting out. Up to 100 teams will be admitted to Incubase, with mentorship, feedback and $500k in prizes.
