AI × crypto becomes clearer when separating the infrastructure and application layers.
On infra side, blockchain and crypto could serve as a trust and verification layer for AI, including data provenance.
On app side, they fit naturally for agent-to-agent payments and AI-driven execution (e.g., trading), with crypto as the payment rail.
Today, much of AI × crypto still feels more narrative-first than problem-first. But as the AI economy grows, the role of blockchain and crypto may become increasingly logical.
If that happens, as @ilblackdragon recently mentioned:
“AI on the front end. Blockchain on the back end.”
