You know what they never mention? How cool it is to take your 5 year old to brunch with you and hear all of their thoughts. How snuggling to watch a movie with your kids after a long day is the best kind of nervous system reset. How rocking your baby to sleep will be your favorite memory. Of course it’s hard.
