@BigPeter @USArmy Efficiency in hover. Power required to hover is inversely proportional to the “disk area” of air being pushed down. A jet exhaust is a tiny area compared to a rotor and would require orders of magnitude more power, more fuel burn, and not be able to operate off of dirt, etc.

Funny story. I terrorized my office with one of these “Annoy PCB” (on Amazon) for months. Eventually because I told too many people it was found out. I brought the device home and it wound up in a change bowl. Despite being switched off, after enough change shuffle, a coin closed the circuit again. It terrorized myself and my wife for months before I found it again. Thought it was this many kitchen appliances.

This is just pure evil 😈
