I can’t say enough how impressed i am with Cayden Boozer and his play these last 3 games. 38 minutes, 19 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 foul and ZERO TURNOVERS.
He is getting better every game, and giving Duke a different dimension at the PG spot.

@DukeBetter Fully agree. I highly doubt there have been another other 1 seeds in the same scenario as Duke is. How many started the tournament without one of the most impactful centers in the country and brought him back? It genuinely makes Duke two completely different teams.

on one hand, this is true.
on the other hand, if Pat Ngongba is back, that's a... very big mid-tourney addition that most survivors of close 1-16 games don't have. so I'm kinda inclined, assuming Pat returns, to throw out the history book.

Duke survives, but not exactly a great omen. The last national champion to win its opener by fewer than 15 points was UConn in 2014. And that 7 seed was the exception to basically every rule ever.

Duke played how they should be playing most of the second half. The first was so awful that it was barely enough to get the win. Great response fight back, but the was worst performance i have see from a Duke team in a long time.
