@NolaBane That's fair and I think he would have to agree, and I imagine: he does. Everyone always has room to improve and he's no different; clearly.
But his "floor" these past 4 years is something I think is being furiously bypassed and it's like: "welp, he sucks." 🫤

Hey, well then sign me up for the "collapse." Most coaches would give anything to get - at any point in their career - to where he's already been: 2nd round, E8, F4, E8. He will figure this out; they will figure this out. And when they do: be sure to stay on that side over there.

There was absolutely no expectation he would - OR COULD - deliver instant titles; the hope, sure. But no way was that the consensus thought; "good luck" was more like it

@BlueInThe212 @roxyraver As a Duke fan it feels like Jon is stuck in a loop of doing great in the regular season then panicking and collapsing in big games in March or April. It took time for Krzyzewski to get over the humo maybe that’s the case with Jon but I’m concerned if he ever will

For every Laettner shot, every Hayward missed heave, every title game comeback a la Grayson Allen, etc., someone has always been on the other side.
Being on this side is awful.
But it's this feeling that will make the other that much more resounding when it comes back around.

@GreyrhinocapLLC Losing in the tourney isn't the indictment you think it is. It speaks far more to the volatility, the madness, if you will, of March. Want a 7 game series to sort it out proper then? Zion team; Paolo team; Cooper/Kon team? Sign me up. That's not March and not what you want.
