Not difficult to say, "I would never discuss any player's NIL situation." He decided to say everything is fake news and someone should dig in and report the truth and then refuse to say what actually is the truth. If he said "we don't talk about money" it's not a headline.

Rumors of the SEC’s demise and downturn appear drastically overstated on day 1 of the NCAA Tournament. 5-0 overall. SEC Tournament Champ Arkansas rolls. Vanderbilt wins comfortably. Two double digit seeds win— Texas and A&M. Played like the top-ranked KenPom league.
