@mpolikoff Interesting finding in the growth of support. I'm working on something which finds less support for 4DSWs, though we focused on 4DSWs as a teacher recruitment/retention tool, not as a means of cost savings.

@kristen_okamoto Diagramming sentences was one of my favorite things in high school. I can’t understand why they don’t teach it anymore! I found it so valuable to writing. I graduated in 1991 (Michigan).

@HitchMagee I wonder if armed officers are more likely to be stationed at schools with higher rates of violence though? Or other factors that could account for differences. What did they control for?

@JohnFPfaff At least they are using the person’s credentials and calling them Dr. Journalists don’t normally do that (breaks with their style guide). I’d rather see this than calling someone with a PhD Mr./Mrs.
