I have higher standards for leftists. Because they identify as such. American populists like Tucker are just expressing something real without the formal theory.
Same with my coworkers. They don’t know theory but they end up at the right position. While leftists know theory and end up at the wrong position.
So it only means so much when leftists say “I don’t support the duopoly” but in practice it’s not really true. At least Tucker has step one, which is creating an independent media platform

Yeah, the trick nowadays, is you either support the Democrats directly or by proxy through an organization like DSA or CPUSA. Or you end up supporting Democrat political movements and orgs and fall for their social campaigns, like PSL or RCA do.
We’ve got a domesticated left that doesn’t want actual political independence and thinks we’re still living in the civil rights movement
