Now Jews are being blamed for the destruction of the Library of Alexandria, ffs! It was actually destroyed in a succession of fires over four centuries - none started by the Jews.
Julius Caesar likely started the first one during his civil war in 48 BC. In the 270s AD, Aurelian led a Roman attack that destroyed much of the Library and it was finally finished off by Christians burning down the Serapeum daughter library in 391 AD.
It also didn't contain 95% of the world's history. Nearly all of the scrolls held there were duplicated elsewhere. Most of the history of civilization is unknown because humans didn't invent an alphabet to record it until about 5,000 years ago, although we've been around for 300,000 years.
