Just in this one game, Jazz forgot to cover 1st twice, popped up a 3-1 pitch in extras (when moving runner over was the goal), and bobbled the game ending non double play. He said he wanted to go 50/50 preseason and has 0 HR thru 9% of the season. He doesnt have the right stuff

Why is Grichuk hitting there? You’re better off with Goldy. Why is Grichuk swinging first pitch? At this point, everyone is better off with Jasson as the fourth OF. Just finish his development in the majors. He could’ve had all of these Grichuk at bats.

Paul Goldschmidt is only allowed to sub in for 2nd best hitter on the team Ben Rice. Randall Grichuk? Hitting .000? Swing away!

Grisham/Chisholm/Wells/McMahon have over 150 plate appearances. Combined for .160 AVG, 0 HR, 9 RBI. Cant have just 1 superstar and this kind of support around him. Better pray the bats heat up when the weather does.

Great heart shown by this UConn team. Hurleys champ teams were riddled with 1st rd picks - this team has 1. They had no business being here. Will be back next year returning Demary, Ball, others. Shout out to Mike Nardi who scouted Mich and is a worthy replacement for L.Murray.

Credit to Michigan for winning a game unlike all its others. True champions win multiple ways. Bummer for UConn was the foul trouble for Ball, who was showing signs of breaking out of his shooting slump but they kept having to sit him.

Honestly when I saw James Breeding was reffing the final I wrote UConn off. Hes basically the only thing that ever beats them (3 losses this year in the 10 games of theirs he reffed)

@MaxMannis They added Winquest. Who they trust so much he hasnt gotten into a game yet. Honestly this bullpen contruction is insane. If this is gonna be the bullpen - how is Cruz consistently coming out of the game after 2-3 hitters?

It's great that the Yankees have the ability to develop scrap heap arms into good bullpen pieces. That doesn't mean you should bank on that entirely instead of adding a SINGLE bullpen arm all winter. Whole fanbase knew it too.

Yanks good start to season. Their bullpen is awful. The construction of it seemed very lazy all winter.
