@EricCrossMLB Thanks Eric. Speaking of ridiculous starts, am I wrong to be blown away by Josiah Hartshorn’s numbers (small sample aside)? .524 OBP, .515 wOBA, 23.8% bb, 2.4% k (not a typo) in 42 PA at age 19 in Carolina League. Even his BABIP is reasonable (.345)

Jhonny Level has been one of the hottest hitters in the minor leagues to open the season. This is his 3rd homer in seven Low-A games, and he was slashing .519/.567/.926 entering this game. Level is already in my Top-100 and pushing Top-50. #SFGiants

George Lombard Jr. is off to a ridiculous start to the season at Double-A, going 13 for 28 (.464) with 2 HR and 7 XBH already, but the most ridiculous stat may be in the swing decision department. Lombard has seen 65 pitches outside of the zone so far and has swung at just one.

A’s farm director Ed Sprague said that Breyson Guedez, who had an impressive spring on the backfields + in big league action, is reporting to Low-A , skipping the ACL. Also hearing that shortstop Edgar Montero and two-way player Shotaro Morii will join him in Low-A Stockton.
