It's light and fun in some places. And it's deep and insightful in some places. And it's heartbreaking and hopeful and it's people talking very simply about very real life things. It's lovely. Big big fan (of Rachel, for a long time, and of the show).

Doing a bunch of little projects, and catching up on past episodes of @rachelnpr's Wild Card. Y'all! IT. IS. SO. GOOD. She's so at ease, so interested in great conversation, puts her guests so at ease too. In my mind, Rachel and I are now friends, just chatting the day away.

My son is 8 months & I’m a happy dad & husband. I never thought I’d survive this long & I was afraid of having children because of the trauma I might pass on. But I embrace Toni Morrison: “The person that was in me that I liked best was the one my children seemed to want.” ❤️‍🩹
