I just remembered that when I was young we didn't need passports to go to Canada. I remember my parents just driving us over the Border. It seems kind of crazy now but it wasn't then and I remember people being kind of annoyed when we couldn't do it anymore.

@itsnwts Are you kidding me? The library is the best free resource around! Order books from anywhere in the system and have them delivered to your local library, free ebook, audiobook, magazine, downloads, etc and they often have discounts to local attractions.

I drink tea for the ritual but this morning I finally read brewing instructions on bottom of a packet of Yorkshire Tea. Brew 4 mins 30 secs. I usually leave bag in water for 30, 40 secs. I followed instructions, 40 yrs after I made my first cup. Banging. Never too late to learn.

@TsaiMeLemoni A condo is a terrible thing to buy. Always rent. They are also harder to get mortgages on, some banks won't even lend on certain condos, it's harder process obtaining a mortgage, which also makes it harder to find a buyer. Bigger cities like LA & NYC it's a bit different.

It's an apartment you own instead of rent

@CharlotteAlter My sister and I used to sing.

My kids share a room in our 1200 sq foot apartment and we once told them in a sad voice "did you know that there are kids who have to sleep ALL ALONE? With NO sisters in their room? Nobody to keep them company? Nobody to sing with them in the middle of the night?" It's the saddest thing they've ever heard.
