@svershbow It’s in pretty much every dish soap (Ecos is my safe go to), almost every hand soap (south of France is one that’s safe), almost every spray cleaner and laundry product, as well as many shampoos and even a lot of hair care products. Public soap dispensers almost always!

@svershbow i know youre based in the US but in EU/UK its restricted at 15ppm/0.0015% so most brands typically wont use it over other preservatives like phenoxyethanol. It’ll be more expensive but it might be easier to find products without MCI/MI if you look at EU based products

I have many thoughts on the freelance rate discourse. I firmly believe that everyone should ask for and get the amount they deserve. I always wanted my friends to be paid as much or more than me (why rate transparency is important)

@lanikaps I am ~thrilled~ by a $1/word assignment and don't think I've ever been paid significantly more than that in my entire freelance career.

But for the majority of working freelance writers, it is an anomaly to make $3 a word and many are not in a position to scoff at $1 or $2 a word assignments. In fact those are considered great rates for many people and they are not nearly enough
