Stryker High School girls basketball may have been robbed of a Final Four trip after Saturday’s matchup with Ottoville was suspended due to “court humidity.” The Panthers led the entire game and were ahead 37–31 with 5:44 left in the fourth quarter when officials suspended play due to a slippery floor. Yet roughly an hour later, Division VI and Division IV games were played on the same court. Today, ~24 hours after the game was suspended, it resumed with momentum dead, and the Stryker Panthers ended up losing. What a disgrace @OHSAASports and @BlufftonU

They announced at 2:05 to clear the gym and at 2:52 @ShayneNissen shared a photo of Bellevue/Genoa teams on the floor. Less than an hour! Clear the gym and let Ottoville/Stryker finish that day.

Maybe next time game plan better for the final 6 minutes. Stryker was up 6 and had the advantage. Going scoreless until 3 seconds left is not ideal and no one else's fault but Stryker.

That didn't happen. It's not about who won...the OHSAA and Bluffton let down these young athletes and no teams should have to go through this situation again.

Ottoville got away with their slip and was given possession of the ball when play resumed. 30 minute drive vs 90 minute drive. Ottoville coach wanted to postpone, Stryker's did not.

Stryker was up 12 and the lead was quickly cut fo 6 by Ottoville right before it was stopped. Both teams had the same obstacle. Stryker is a phenomenal team that had a great year but give credit to Ottoville
