And you're now seeing 40% to 50% cuts in many of these producers. Every single day that production is down by half in this region, the world loses 15.5 million bpd of oil supply. That's 108.5 million barrels in a week; 465 million barrels in a month - more than the entire U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve. That's something you cannot make up for immediately if and when the war stops. The lost oil supply will work its way into global energy supply chains and wreak havoc on almost everything we touch.

@NIONenad Of course, it won't be Nio. If the Onvo L90 was still as successful as the ES8, I would have said that Nio is a reborn company. No car company is safe in China. Geely Auto is the safest. Even BYD lost its throne in China for 2 months in a row.

@_mm85 After the failures of the G7, the new P7 and their Erevs did not contribute much to their sales figures, I think Xpeng now is the most vulnerable Chinese auto company. Unless their Robotaxi become a real success ( if released), Xpeng is a target for acquisition.

But NIO shorter AJ Alojoh recommends XPeng Stock to his audience - well maybe because for XPeng car sales don’t matter anymore (got that in common with his beloved Tesla), since they are working on a robot (as do 200+ startups in China) and on flying cars (which sometimes crash).

The true test of AI is how good it is at collecting data from any source it can get its hands on, and how it processes that data to learn quickly and properly, so that it can generate the most accurate and realistic response possible. If US-made AI can achieve this faster and better than foreign counterparts given the immense capital at their disposal then great. But if others like Chinese AI can come up with better LLMs using whatever resources are available, that doesn’t speak highly of US LLMs. That’s just how I see it.

@BrianTycangco The issue is they did this in one of the market’s worst periods. Nobody is selling. Onvo sold almost nothing last month, and only last year’s ES8 orders kept the company alive. With so many new models in China, no success lasts long. No one is safe. Only model Y and Yu7 are safe.
