@ChumLine Kesselring might be moved, power is already signed until 2031, Byram will be an interesting discussion what they decide to do with him but he does have a year left and the cap is gonna skyrocket. Honestly you’d probably have an easier time working out a sign and trade for byram

Think I speak for most Sharks fans but if Goodrow and Gaudette are on any other line than 4th next year and then off the team the following year then we fucked. Also yes Wenneberg ideally 3c. Agree with 1D. Draft Reid and trade are hopes

SJ has great forward prospects, but their weakness is D and their D prospect depth sucks. No #1 D which is why they need to play this right so they don’t become the Leafs West

@donnis76 How are you guys going to pay Power though. You guys want to sign Byram and I objectively think he is a lot better than Power and he is going to get a bag. If not by Sabres than by anyone. He will get 10 mil a year easily.

@christianw1707 @AdamFly96727825 Definitely a big ask. We do have the 3rd most wins in Pacific this year. Only vets we have are Sherwood and Toffoli. No other vet on long contract and won’t be on team. We have most cap space in entire NHL and will for next two years. Best prospects as well. Can make any move

@ChumLine @AdamFly96727825 Yeah you just listed a bunch of magic beans that have to sprout Smith, Eklund and Misa are really the only ones who have proven high quality NHL play But to have them all improve drastically within the same system is a huge ask. You’re also asking for all vets to maintain play

Gauthier is one year older than Smith and Smith shattered every stat he had at Boston College. They also played together in Worlds and were very equivalent on same roster.

@AdamFly96727825 I mean yeah you could get anyone if you overpay him by 30% Don’t know why you’d want to do that since you’re not in a position to contend. The only reasonable contracts Carlson will sign are probably Caps and Ducks Ducks likely become semi-contenders next year.

Funny part about Pacific Division is I wouldn’t be surprised if they won it all. Oilers always turn it on.
