@RSPManston is the project to open Manston still happening, haven’t seen any updates since May and @SirRogerGale said there would be a big announcement on secured funding in November 2025 but not seen anything.

@IsleThanetNews heard anything on how the airport project is progressing ?

@ZelenskyyUa If this ends with Ukraine having to give up land taken by Russia there should be no lifting of sanctions or welcoming Russia back into the G7 or any other international body. We cannot reward military invasion in this way.

It is important to ensure that the steps to end the war are effective, and that everything is doable. Ukraine has never wanted war, and we will never be an obstacle to peace. Diplomacy has been reinvigorated — and this is good. We expect the outcome to deliver the right steps. And the first priority is a reliable peace, guaranteed security, respect for our people, and respect for everyone who gave their lives defending Ukraine from Russian aggression. Millions of Ukrainians clearly support our state’s position. It is palpable. There is firm support for our independence and Ukrainian sovereignty. People must benefit from all political decisions.

Still sad when a school closes though surely, the 100 figure was from the UK Labour Treasury Minister. Also strange that @UKLabour are blocking HMRC plans to put Vat on city investment management service fees ?

@ClimateFirst2 @pseuderman @sebastiansalek Yes they do, and more. 85 private schools per year on average closed in the UK the 10 years between 2013 - 2023.

@pseuderman @sebastiansalek Treasury Minister says it’s now 100 schools closing. Just think of the effect on all those children and their teachers.

@ClimateFirst2 @sebastiansalek There are 2,421 private schools in the UK, so 12 is less than 0.5%, and 'linked' suggest VAT changes are only part of their problem. I think it's clearly a beneficial initiative for the wider population

Ursula von der Leyen is lying, because in fact data shows that the EU has imported MORE russian LNG in recent years, especially in 2023 and 2024, than before the Ukraine war.
