Such a pleasure working with this team (@MicTott @SvitlanaBach @martinowk @stephaniehicks @VincentCostaPhD) to systematically describe primate amygdalar neuron molecular diversity in anatomical terms. Stay tuned for insights into neuron-type function.

This has been an amazing collaboration that I think exceeded all of our expectations - both the amount of fun and the research product. I think we provided something important for the field and brought some new insight.

26 years after Larry Swanson emphasized “the amygdala is neither a structural or functional unit” we used sn-RNAseq to answer the question: “What is the [primate] amygdala?” Check out the preprint 👇 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Now that we have some data trickling out for #SfNConnectome21 decided we needed a lab logo. It's no coat of arms but it scratches the itch for now.
