@chamath But all these places all have high rates of ethnic homogeneity. Socialism is easier if your country is one giant family (Denmark, Israel, Japan, etc.) with shared religion, history, values, etc. Socialism in non homogeneous countries turns out to be Somalis in Minnesota

You can identify all the greatest countries in the world by asking a simple question: "Is it cool to be rich there?" Countries that celebrate success and still have strong safety nets: Singapore, Denmark and Switzerland. Every country that has gotten the answer to this question wrong has become economically irrelevant and a vassal state of another. We should properly take care of everyone, but you need resources and leverage that only come in success. Many countries in Europe have become examples of not getting this right.

I run local models. I run whisper transcription. I run over a dozen internal apps (containerized) in addition to the JFDI system. The only time I max out the ram in my personal VPS is when some Claude Code written process has a memory leak 😂 And now I have Claude Code detect those early, trace, and fix them automatically!
