
Have you read the transcripts from her arrest. She pled guilty to what she thought was a misdemeanour being told if she didn’t she would be held on remand and not bailed for 4 months before going to trial. She was poorly advised to plead guilty in order to get home. If she had pled not guilty it is highly likely she would have been acquitted as the crown would have to prove a link between her words and the subsequent violence, which is why the councillor threatening to cut throats in public was acquitted. There is a very strong argument to say she did the time but not the crime.
