There’s another creature called $LAUNCHCOIN, a coin I stuffed into my cheeks like a hamster. Yesterday I freaked out from a 50% pump in the moment. But it was caused not by anything fundamental, but by a short seller carried out feet first. An address linked to GSR shorted LAUNCHCOIN and was fully liquidated for 64.6M $LAUNCHCOIN ($7.8M). The forced buybacks triggered a cascade of liquidations, which gave the coin a strong pump.

Eightco (a company specializing in cryptocurrency investments) announced a private placement of shares in the amount of 250 million US dollars at a price of 1.46 US dollars per share (≈171,232,877 shares) + 20 million US dollars from BitMine (BMNR); the funds raised are intended for the purchase of $WLD (@worldcoin ) shares into the treasury. The only question floating in the air is whether this is a real attempt to follow the path of MSTR or, as always, dilution in the style of PIPE-to-pump. Alright, right now there’s a whole bunch of screamers yelling about what bastards BLACK HOMELESS PEOPLE are! So what solutions are you suggesting???! I’ll be straight with you - before writing this post I wanted to write something like: “fuck me, I’m so fucking sick of chicks in CT building an audience only with their ass and not with their brains!!” These emotions weren’t because I’ve got some ambitions to become a CT influencer. It’s just painful to watch smart, sharp guys in their own lane struggle to break a pathetic couple thousand followers, while some chick posts her ass from a crypto conference and the whole CT flocks like bees to honey. Yeah, that was supposed to be the point of this post. But digging a little deeper - which I always fucking do before I open my mouth - I found a lot of interesting shit. I won’t be opening America for anyone if I say that there are fewer women in crypto than men. And if you want to throw at me something like “nah, I talk to a hundred girls about crypto on X” - check first if all those accounts aren’t run by the same Indian schoolkid and shut the fuck up. Here’s what I found: 1. What was news to me - by 2024 (couldn’t find fresher stats), only 5 out of the 100 most influential crypto bloggers on Twitter were women. Five fucking percent! No wonder CT loses its mind when even one female ass slips into the feed!! 2. Male accounts have more followers in absolute numbers. And holy fuck, it’s a gap. The biggest female crypto account (Layah Heilpern, ~705k) is only 29th overall. Example: Meltem Demirors @Melt_Dem (254k) is miles behind Michael Saylor @saylor (4.5M) in followers despite similar fame in the industry. 3. Research shows men follow women way less often than women follow men. And that massively fucks the growth of female accounts in a niche dominated by men. 4. 40% of women in crypto report facing gender harassment online. Here, I don’t fucking know. Didn’t find details on what exactly that means. Maybe just dick pics, maybe worse. Anyone seen this firsthand? And beyond all this, after digging through tons of data and articles, I made a few conclusions. For a girl, it’s usually much easier to start and grab attention in crypto than for a guy. In the beginning, a girl always gets noticed - like a European in China (I was just fucking blown away by the sheer number of looks I was getting from dripping Chinese chicks when I first landed in China. And it’s not like I’m anything particularly attractive. ). A girl just needs to prove she’s real, not fake. And if she’s got tits and ass - that’s pure fire, the starter pack for a crypto influencer. But once it’s about reaching a more serious audience - when it’s not about tits and pussy anymore but about real user interest - girls run into massive bias from the crypto crowd. Crossing that barrier is insanely hard, and those same 5% I mentioned above prove it. After reading all this, I just want to shut my fucking mouth and keep liking the posts of our favorite crypto girls.

Maybe for crypto it’s a wow-effect, but for me, as a designer with many years of experience, it looks like crudely generated AI crap - a pathetic imitation of Octavio Ocampo. Honestly, it feels like a ten-minute craft with no involvement of artists: no minimal processing, no correction - faces and limbs in artifacts. And here’s what I don’t understand: those who are pushing the “genius” of this collection, do they really think so, or are they just stupidly driving the crowd into the meat grinder for hype? Or am I missing something???

I don’t know how you look at crypto, bro - no offense if I strike a nerve. I look at this shit as a hellbound train of hypocrisy and lies. I’m here to make a fuckload of money and jump off in time, while it’s still on the tracks - while it’s still pretending to be insanely high-tech, and while nobody notices that it’s moving on the legs of the believers, who stick them through holes in the floor and push the whole thing forward with their own sweat and at their own expense. As for my hole in the floor - I’ll leave that to someone else.
