It would be a song about hubris and how foolish the boy was to make such a reckless bargain with a literal cosmic entity of twisted deals and corrupting evil. At the very least the boy would need some sort of trick to come out ahead, if it would be possiblefor the boy to survive at all. But in America, no, he was just simply better. He just straight up beat the devil at a game of the devil's choosing with nothing but sheer competence and confidence.

It was a nasty war and our ancestors did a lot of nasty things to each other. We can joke about it now the same way people who met as rivals and are now friends can. I honestly would like to see Japan with a full army and navy. I don't think the Japan of today a would misuse it. I don't think our country even has the right to oppose it. I would like to see you regain some of your lost martial tradition.

Let’s move forward — as brothers.” No more endless atonement. No more living in the shadow of being the “former enemy.” The curse broke. Japan feels free to stand tall again. Right now, cherry blossoms are blooming beautifully all across Japan. 🌸 This spring, the sakura feels like a perfect symbol — a fresh beginning. Not two nations stuck in old roles, but true equals, proud brothers, shoulder to shoulder, ready to build the future together. To the American people: We don’t want to be subordinates forever.
