@JSX423 @Tesla_AI Usually unless the speed limit is 55 or greater, the left lane isn’t a “passing lane”

Another day and another time of FSD in Hurry 'thinking it's going fast in the fast lane' embarrassingly (for me) getting passed at +15mph because traffic on this 35mph road averages 55 to 60 like I say everytime. STAY OUT of the PASSING lane, FSD! @Tesla_AI

I had an odd conversation today. One coworker was asking me about my Tesla and FSD. We were just casually chatting and he was very curious. Another coworker came up and said “because we don’t have fog.” Me and the other guy stared at him confused. He mentioned something about radar and I said that mine uses vision. He said “yeah because it doesn’t have lidar, the cars can’t see in the fog and slam into things.” He mentioned a video of a Tesla hitting a barrier in fog? I hadn’t seen that one. I told him that mine has driven through fog just fine, but I remember that @JoshWest247 had some issues with fog recently. We kind of just all shrugged and dispersed. Anyone have recent issues with fog or know of that video that my coworker referenced?

@pmtiegs Also you should try to make sure they aren’t overbuilding your system. Too much heat or cooling capacity can lead to short cycling and excess cost. It’s pretty common for HVAC companies to overdo it.

Alright folks, anyone here an HVAC expert? I’ve got the guy down to $22,300 for this setup installed in the attic, but that still seems crazy high. Getting other quotes but wanted to gut check.

tsk tsk @Betterment - time for a new alias. Let this serve as an example why everyone should use email aliases and not trust websites (even banks) with your real email address.

The bullet used to kill Charlie Kirk does not match the rifle allegedly used by suspect Tyler Robinson. The murder weapon and the alleged murder weapon are not the same weapon.

Luckily the Tesla navigation will route you around superchargers that are offline, so no worry of showing up to one that's not working. Florida Power & Light have reported that their grid is more than capable of handling the uptick in charging due to evacuations/hurricanes. Tesla also deploys mobile charging trailers to the worst-hit areas following storms so that people don't go without.

@Cyber_guy @DonaldCapak @elonmusk They certainly can, so don’t be too naive. The electrical grids in the US are a hot fragile mess but hopefully a few hundred miles will be a good enough distance to get to safety.

@DevinOlsenn There are countless videos. Some people don't seek them out. That's part of the learning experience for most Tesla first-time buyers. The happy surprises are a good thing, not a bad thing.

This video is a double edged sword for me. On one hand I love that she is enjoying her Tesla. On the other hand - it’s a bit concerning that someone who has owned a Tesla for four months had NO idea the car would plan your road trip for you with supercharging stops and show things like capacity at the supercharger. Tesla really needs to put together a short 60 second commercial with all of the things the car can do for you and blast it all over the tv/internet. I was hoping the Tesla Vision contest from last year would result in some good content that Tesla would have then promoted online to help educate people - but that hasn’t happened I don’t think. x.com/devinolsenn/st…

Have you seen the runs on gas stations in instances like that? If you have an EV, you've got a full tank every time you leave your garage. That'll get you 250-300 miles easily before you have to charge again, and there's so much charging infrastructure now that it's not an issue. Plus, the charging station won't 'run out' of fuel.

@elonmusk EVs I thought were supposed to be about zero emissions but that was never mentioned. It was all about amenities. Either way, I wouldn’t own one, can’t imagine evacuating for a hurricane and trusting I’ll make it to my destination w/o stranding my family.

@TheOnlyFronk @elonmusk Model 3 standard. Get one used in a few years and it'll be the best possible vehicle for the money. It's already the best vehicle for the money, but if you don't want to spend new car money, don't get a new car.

@elonmusk I want one bad, but we just dont buy luxury cars. It is a terrible waste of money. Can you please make a version for normal people? Commuter 2 door with non leather seats and no sunroof? Something that costs less than any other car in Canada. You gotta beat them to win.

@AwakenWithJP You're going to read the headline of a tabloid that regularly lies instead of the actual facts, then use that to spin up a conspiracy?

I have lost my keys inside my car. Not locked, LOST. To clarify: My car turned on. My car will only turn on if the keys are inside of it. So they must be in the car. Yet I cannot find my keys. My car is not messy. There is very little in it. I’ve looked everywhere. And yet, the keys are nowhere to be found. But they have to be here. Hence, I have lost my keys in my car. What … and I cannot stress this enough … the f*ck?
