@The_PunKing @SpaceXGodXodD @SonicAndSimsFan It’s true it wasn’t this 1 scene, but “deception” is a bit much. The show was always a dark comedy, but dropped the comedy part in S3 and y’know? I think it justified the rest of the series’ existence. Only so many ways to joke “American WASPs are hypocrites!” Before it gets old.

It absolutely was not this one scene. There were 3 scripts, one of which was named Raped that got the show cancelled. The creator was criticized for lack of humor, especially Alone, which he supposedly quipped: "There's 1 joke? Where is it. I'll remove it." There's this odd curtain of sentiment surrounding the show where people pretend to not see the problem, especially since one of the scripts contained a coat hanger abortion. It's probably the most depressing self deception I've ever read. People really believe cartoon network execs asked for this stuff.
