Meet Heidie, a former Police Scotland tracking legend, crime fighting pro, and… accidental cannabis connoisseur 😅 After four years of sniffing out trouble, it seems retirement has really gone to her head. On a late night walk, Heidie’s famous nose led her straight to something she definitely was not trained to detect… cannabis, all completely unbeknown to her owner 👀🌿 Fast forward to 1am: wobbly legs, panicked human, emergency vet dash, only to discover this decorated retired police dog had, quite literally, overdone it on the green stuff 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully, after some quick treatment and probably a very confusing nap, Heidie was back on her paws, dignity slightly questionable but tail still wagging 💚 Her owner and former handler Jo said it best: “Quite funny for a retired police dog to get caught red handed on drugs!” 😂 Even the best noses have an off day, but we would prefer our retired officers stick to biscuits, not evidence 🚨 It was our absolute pleasure to cover the cost of Heidie’s emergency treatment in full, because when our retired police dogs need help, we have always got their backs 🇬🇧💙🚔

@grantshapps Where do you draw the line? I find his views repugnant, but there are also those who might find the views of Morrissey, @KNEECAPCEOL, @BobbyVylan, @TRobinsonNewEra etc repugnant. It is not clear what public interest is served by banning any of them from performing.
