Just to reiterate, there's no @ScotEsportsNet meetup this week. Playing catch up after a crazy month personally and professionally. I've pencilled in April 30th but I'll let everyone know asap once things are confirmed!

2 Weeks ago was a busy one! CPG for National Games Strategy and the @scotgamesweek workshop It's evident Esports perception in Scotland still has some ways to go, but its utility and social impact is undeniable - hopefully something that's nationally recognised in the future.

@jadel4w @MarkMcCreadyUK @XOTWOD57 @ScotEsportsNet @scotgamesweek Yeah that's totally valid. I even mentioned it last night tbf: with the number of solo creators/professionals not on the pulse it'll be easy to miss some stones or have under/over represented sectors.

It should have been a task force designed to uncover these stones. Even if you ask everyone to come forward, they probably won’t. This isn’t a good way to gather information

There's a correct time and place for voices too, that's why myself / SEN didn't announce about the CPG being open for this very reason, but the workshops felt appropriate for casting a wider net.

@D_RMurray @MarkMcCreadyUK @XOTWOD57 @ScotEsportsNet @scotgamesweek Welp. Unfortunately I will have to agree to disagree. I don’t think everyone’s voice matters. It’s a nice sentiment but if your sector includes such a wide variety of voices then you need to self organise and figure out what’s valid before muddying the waters.
