And that’s where the problem becomes deeper than just a “support issue.” Because LinkedIn isn’t just a social platform, it’s infrastructure for careers, opportunities, and livelihoods. When a product becomes that important, access becomes part of the core experience. 4/7

The verification and restriction flow, in particular, feels heavily automated. And once you’re caught in it, there’s very little clarity on what’s happening or how to fix it.  No clear human support path, just generic responses, loops, and uncertainty. 3/7

LinkedIn is one of those products that feels powerful, until you run into its support and verification system. I recently ran into account restrictions and verification flows that made me step back and look at the platform differently, from a product perspective. 1/7

Maybe the real question is: How do you protect trust and security without locking users out of their own professional identity? Because the best products aren’t just the ones that work well. They’re the ones you can still rely on when something goes wrong. 7/7
