If you deadass look at this gameplay and the first thing that comes to your head is "woke," you don't deserve to call yourself a gamer.

@The_PunKing This is a common argument I get all the time. Things like reading the rules are often cited as prep. That's a given to me. The bare minimum to be in this hobby. I personally don't think rolling on a table to make something up on the fly is prep though.

The thing in my head all day is that uing random tables is prep. People love them, and I know folks who put a lot of time into getting great random tables. My favorite open world style is even lower prep than assembling and following random tables. So there really is a difference between low prep and no prep. Both are great!

Why are *some* gamers so hell bent on exclusives for consoles? Like what does that get you? Don’t you want more people to enjoy the stories and games you enjoy? Is it just team sports & you don’t want anybody else to have what you have?

@kenjisbestie I'm at about the halfway point. Took a little longer to get into it than previous Expanse books, but I think that's been more me than the book itself. Yesterday, I sat down with it for about 100 pages, and I'm locked back in

@Varzenox Just got to your local library and find something that interests you You might want to try and make sure it's written in a style that's a bit simpler and about 100 - 200 pages so that you can get a few easy wins

hardcovers are so unnecessary tbh? like paperbacks are just fine. i can carry it easily, read it easily & takes less space...you can’t convince me that we need hardcovers for any other reason than just decor? no offence to ppl who like 'em tho
