@BradChacos @Gordonung OK, then we disagree. tell me this: In 6 months, 1 year from now when people read you article then. would you say your article is as relevant as if your same article with 7950X -let's call it article 2 -?

@Gordonung @BradChacos 'latest OS version' nope. just the BIG CPU and GPU. I didn't say it should apply to everything.

@Derbyware @BradChacos And this logic also means a reviewer should use latest OS version and maybe tightest and newest memory too. And it discounts the value of baselines.

@JarrodsTech My Scar 15 2021 runs both m.2 slots in x2 mode in battery instead of x4. I found out by installing a second drive -WD SN750- and runs the benchmark in battery by accident. I tought I should let you know.

@JarrodsTech 5. "Upscaling techniques such as DLSS and FSR haven't been enabled, because we would have to judge visual quality for each GPU at each tested resolution to make it apples to apples."

@JarrodsTech I think you starting to test with DLSS enabled for games that support it is data that is 100% meaningless for me. I have and rtx card. would never play with dlss. I rather turn off settings than resolution. but hey we had a good run.

@JarrodsTech 4. "The 3080 can also benefit from DLSS support, though we don't include those numbers as they'd need to be accompanied by a detailed visual analysis."

@JarrodsTech 3. Take Techspot for example, they also make a very detailed game benchmark comparison, they make an effort to do 50 games -I think your effort is more than them because you include the 4+ graphics settings- but they don't enable DLSS/FSR. they say

@JarrodsTech 2. plus for us who don't like using DLSS you graphs no longer mean anything for us which means you just lost some viewer of your game benchmark videos. this move you've made is 100% apple move: "we decide what's good for you not YOU".

@JarrodsTech 1. I'ved got a Scar 15 with RTX 3060 130W. I'm a real user as far as I can tell. I don't use Upscaling Algorithms. The point I'm making is that a feature like DLSS/FSR is up the user to decide not you the reviewer.

@Gordonung when I open an image in a new tab, say the R20 benchmark graph, it has this text at the end that does not show the image in it original form but a 50% which sucks because I always have to remove it and hit enter '?resize=1200%2C720&quality=50&strip=all'

@dark1x in your digital foundry videos. how do you count the pixel count for consoles or is it part of your secret sauce?

@JarrodsTech I don't like that you started benchmarking games with DLSS/FSR enabled. I just want to share my opinion with in case it matters.

@JarrodsTech how do you measure 1% lows. I try to use afterburner and it only shows a number that does not change.

the iGPU is active. and all workloads are loaded on iGPU. How they're different is that AMD feature is shifting the workload. In My Scar if an application is using the nvidia gpu and you unplug the power, Asus Cannot Shift the workload and the nvidia gpu will still be running

@JarrodsTech SmartShift Eco Sounds similar to What Asus have in their Scar 15 2021 laptops, the same laptop you've reviewed. it's called -latest armoury crate version- MSHybrid Mode : Optimized Option. what it does is it disable the nvidiba gpu on battery altogether and only
