@MessVioleteyes@mountainkinggav This completely ignores the first thing she does when she arrives in the city, which is murder Aethas's personal guards.
@mountainkinggav Just a reminder : Jaina only attacked people who attacked her first.

TBH I think this is call back to the bugged out Ice Elementals.
I think this recent chapter got my head thinking on it. But yeah. It's a FAR MORE interesting story to have the Sunwell die out and the Blood Elves deal with its fall out again. But this time with the lessons learned of last time.
Than them just replacing it with another Well.
@Portergauge Sure, plenty of Elves left over those many years, but I don't know of any evidence that they left under bitter terms. The TBC exile is the moment when an actual rift was formed rather than just typical emigration, and that rift is what's being addressed here.
@Destronaught The major high elf exodus happened over 3000 years since the founding of Dalaran, the majority of modern high elves already left before Anasterian's death, and the main group who DID leave died in Cataclysm.
Okay, doing the elf chapter of the Midnight max level campaign, here be spoilers! Doing the Alliance version first, and then Horde after to see differences.
Starting right off the bat with the premise: we're gathering ALL the elves of Azeroth as the army to retake Quel'Danas.
@DeicideOP@Portergauge Certainly there are plenty of Elves who departed Silvermoon before the exile, but the bitterness that led to the Silver Covenant existing as a militant force is inseparable from that event. I think "Anasterion's reign was the last time our people were whole" holds up as an idea.
@Destronaught@Portergauge I think Porter is talking about the elves that wanted to live abroad, the ones that would be living far away when the Scourge came (Anastaerian was an isolationist). But yeah, the elven schism comes after Anasterian’s death, when high elves were exiled from Silvermoon.
@Portergauge Wait, is this true? The major Helf exile/exodus occurred after the Scourge Invasion in response to the Illidan/Kael/Rommath reforms, no? Anasterian was already dead at that point.
These bits especially just baffle me. This is just blatantly NOT true at all, the high elves were leaving UNDER Anasterian.
Vereesa of all people saying this makes no sense. You can't even say this is a perspective that should be biased towards him lol
@Portergauge She's right! They should rely on World Trees instead, which have a much better track record w/r/t corruption!

...Nevermind!
‘Rage’ and ‘outrage’ aren’t etymologically related.
‘Rage’ is from the Latin ‘rabere’ (to be mad).
‘Outrage’ is from Anglo-French ‘utrage’ (insult), from Latin 'ultra' (beyond).
We hope this doesn’t make you mad.
I'm gonna prove something. I have a Google Doc of every single Pokémon, from 1-1025.
COMMENT YOUR FAVORITE and I'll add your name until we've found someone who likes every single one!
@Portergauge I understand the feeling that the line between life and death shouldn't be so easy to walk across, but the Maldraxxus folks are literally undead in real, physical flesh bodies. I think they get a pass.
My Hot take about Blood elves is that I don't like seeing them using horses. Their racial mount is the hawkstrider! The Blood elf paladin's charger should be a hawkstrider too.
@Ranger_Elvira@Warcraft The (absolutely beautiful) red crystals existed in the decor database during beta, but there was never a source listed. I'm guessing prey season 2 reward?
@feladrae Limited interior options is my biggest fault with the system rn. The whole vibe of Silvermoon is bright, sunny exteriors and dim, moody interiors. The current wall and floor options don't accommodate that for housing. The armillary helps but it's only half the equation.
Need this as an interior floor style for housing. In general we need so many more options for interior styles, and at least have ceiling/wall/floor style options be interchangeable.
@what_rot_@e_libertas@unclebobmartin Yes it is. It has been for literally hundreds of years. The classical definition is archaic and essentially unused.
@Caleina_Lore Probably some variation of "What does this kid want from me?" He wouldn't attribute it to compassion, he'd assume that Arator had some very practical reason to keep him alive.
@Portergauge Like the *good* version of this storyline ends with the Illidari taking control of the smuggling ring so they can manage and train everyone involved.
@Portergauge I don't really have much of a problem with any of this writing, up until we reach the dungeon and the solution to this irresponsible use of magic is "Let's just kill literally everyone even remotely proximate to it"
The Murder Row dungeon quests got some very small changes, having Belath talk more about the *dangers* of fel magic instead of calling them foolish for fearing the Void.
Doesn't change the overall issues with the dungeon, but they're nice little framing changes.
@BaalTheWarlock Ideally they'd spread the various void creatures across every demon-type category so people could go all-in on being a Void Warlock if they want.
