He flies on billionaire-funded private jets. His party is bankrolled by a Thai-based cryptocurrency investor who has given £12 million. He attended Trump's inauguration on £28,000 of donor money. Is the working-class hero act credible - or is it the most elaborate political performance of our lifetime?

HUGE NEWS Sweden now wants to SCRAP permanent residence permits for migrants. Instead they would only be able to get temporary permits. This would be a massive step towards stopping open borders.

David Lammy and Labour are passing a law which means that existing graves can be exhumed and the bodies cremated so that they can be re-used by others. So who benefits from this - the religion that insists on burials and no cremations?🤔🤔🤔

The US President‘s verbal attacks on the UK and expletive loaded comments do not help. They split alliances. The UK needs to give strong private advice to the President on how to rebuild the combined influence of democratic states and what to expect of allies.

@RupertLowe10 Supported by a fantastic local councillor. Why change it, why seek to remove him purely out if ideology? Bragging rights?

Hemsby in my constituency is the most fantastic little corner of England for a few days away with the children. All sorts to do, wonderful beaches and great food/drink. We are aiming for a blockbuster 2026 summer - please make the effort to visit the wider Great Yarmouth area!

For all the IDIOTS who are bleating on about opening up oil fields (this includes Reform UK and the Conservatives) have a read 👇 New North Sea drilling would barely reduce UK gas imports at all, data shows 😳 (Wow, who knew?) Exclusive: research finds Jackdaw field would provide only about 2% of current demand, and Rosebank only 1% Opening major new fields in the North Sea would make almost no difference to the UK’s reliance on gas imports, research has shown. The Jackdaw field, one of the largest unexploited gasfields in the North Sea, would displace only 2% of the UK’s current imports of gas, which would leave the UK still almost entirely dependent on supplies from Norway and a few other sources. The Rosebank field, also in Scottish waters but mainly containing oil, would displace only about 1% of the UK’s gas imports. Tessa Khan, executive director of Uplift, the campaign group, which compiled the data from public sources, said: “New fields like Jackdaw and Rosebank would do vanishingly little to boost UK gas production. "Even in the most optimistic scenario, and assuming none of its gas is exported, Jackdaw would provide just 2% of UK demand over its nine- to 12-year lifetime.” 1)

3% is a lot and enough to fully displace LNG in the summer It would both reduce bills and increase tax receipts. Plus it's greener than imports But if you think 3% isn't worth bothering with you must be really upset we're spending £billions to cut our 0.8% contribution to global emissions

In 1985 the area I grew up in had a department store, McDonald's, Supermarkets, butchers, bakers, fishmongers, Woolworths, Littlewoods, Fosters, Dixon's, Smiths, Boots, 10 banks, 2 indoor markets and a lot more. Now it has a Lloyds bank, B&M bargains and loads of tatty shops generally selling various items for people who migrated here. It's an unmitigated disaster. #RestoreBritain

If Britain is ever taken over by Islam to the point that it is ruled by a Muslim government with Sharia Law governing it, will the Left even notice this as a concern?

Went into town for a while today. First time I've done that in ages. Genuinely astonishing how many foreigners there were. The number of Africans was just insane, with at least half of them appearing mentally ill. Parts of my town are completely colonised by these people. I will vote for any party that gets rid of them. They should not be here.

Not true. The allies undertook the Normandy Landings to liberate Europe from Nazi Germany. You didn’t do it for the British. The British had already ended German dreams of invading the British Isles by winning the “Battle of Britain” before US joined the war. Furthermore… about 83,115 British and Canadian troops landed on D-Day, compared to 73,000 Americans. The British also provided the majority of the naval ships - 892 ships out of 1,213 - and landing craft - 3,261 out of 4,126. We have always regarded the USA as friends and allies, and massively appreciate your assistance in securing Europe over many decades, but please do not insult us, or demean yourself, by exaggerating your contribution and ignoring our own.
