What? the article actually says that all these countries will host *nuclear armed rafales* ?? or they've agreed to be *able* to host them? those are 2 very very different things.

⚡️Ukraine’s strikes have targeted dozens of Russian refineries since 2024, with peaks knocking out ~15-20% ‼️of capacity temporarily (e.g., up to ~1M bpd offline at times, refining runs dropping to ~4.9-5.1M bpd vs normal ~5.3-5.5M). Russia has offset much of this via spare/idle capacity and repairs often within weeks, keeping annual throughput declines modest (~3% in some periods) and crude exports relatively steady while product exports dipped.

@WW3_Monitor No confirmation/info on an attack. There was an all clear, and apparently an investigation is ongoing.

I was seeing reports earlier today that the Kaliningrad Oblast in Russia that is surrounded by NATO had a drone alert today I did not see any attack hit the Oblast so far

@alternative_war There's already been an all clear and flights from the airport have resumed. More likely a misidentification or civilian drone, perhaps a Ukranian drone sent far off course via EW (but unlikely).

In context, we should recall that in March 2022, the international volunteer intelligence community InformNapalm highlighted the hidden plans and actions of the Russian Federation regarding the transfer of units of the 18th MSD from the Kaliningrad region to eastern Ukraine. And in September 2022, we exclusively published the journals, personnel lists, and documents of the Russian 7th OMSP (military unit 06414, permanent deployment point in Kaliningrad), captured by Ukrainian military as trophies in the Kharkiv region during a counteroffensive on Russian positions. Then we assumed that sooner or later, when Russian forces based in temporarily occupied Kaliningrad were partially or completely demilitarized in Ukraine, the issue of returning this occupied territory to the jurisdiction of one or two NATO countries would be resolved. Putin's "special operation" to destroy Russia is going according to plan...

@DefenceGeek Lack of patriot/other missile interceptors mean there's a window of vulnerability for Russia to exploit.

Hard to tell if Russia is just throwing threats around again (like the infinite nuclear threats), or if they're genuinely going to try and flatten Kyiv with missiles and UAVs...

@GLandsbergis Given the fact that Europe is so heavily involved in both financing and arming Ukraine they really should be involved in negotiations. It's difficult for many to understand, but more than two things can be true at once.

Zelenskyy doesn't need European mediation at the negotiating table, he needs European support on the battlefield.

Zelensky inviting Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya to Kyiv in what has been staged like an official visit of a foreign leader is a deliberate affront to Lukashenko who has just said he’d be ready to meet Zelensky “anywhere in the world”. Gives an idea of who is driving the latest Belarus-focused escalation.

@vtchakarova I didn't say they shouldn't release them, just that i'm dubious that the 'true history of humankind' is in their vaults. Incredibly important and potentially very illuminating, sure. Would love to see it, if only from the pov of an archivist/historian.

@DragonMediator You basically described the nature or almost any piece of ancient history. Which is why there are historians, anthropologists etc. who deal with such documents. Your justification is unconvincing.

Release the hidden books from the Vatican libraries and allow the World to learn the Truth about the history of humankind. Knowing our past, our true & unique past, is the only way forward to avoid another “Babel syndrome”. It’s not the AI; it’s the humans standing in the way.

@MoloWarMonitor All clear now issued in the region. Given the extent of the jamming etc coming from the enclave (and the ever increasing usage of drones by civilians) i'm surprised something like this hasnt happened sooner.

Drone threat in the Kaliningrad region of Russia, it's the first time since the beginning of the war. According to monitoring channels a drone flew in from the territory of Poland. I'm waiting for official confirmation, this could be a huge escalation.

For the 1st time since early 2022, Kaliningrad has locked down its airspace amid a drone alert at Khrabrovo airport. Dozens of aircraft circling overhead are reportedly unable to land. Moscow regularly treats security concerns about its western exclave as a major escalation risk.
