@InvertedSilence It's still weird behavior as when in Classic mode I have retrigger mode on (and 3 voices) having it turned on does nothing but turning it off also fixes the issue for me (even with max release time). Almost as if the behavior is completely flipped from what you'd expect it to do

twitter.com/DylanTallchief… ok small addendum; it seems to be related to sample release times. if the release time overlaps with the next note, phase misalignment will happen even if you only haveone voice; the workaround for this is to use a "note length" device instead

@InvertedSilence If you switch to Classic you see their release set at 60s so the sample is still playing as well. If you change it back to the default 50ms then it's not a problem anymore.

@InvertedSilence I checked out their example project file and they are using 1-shot mode so when the 2nd midi note plays it's still playing the last sample (hence why it sounds different the 2nd time).

@DylanTallchief That list was actually parameters in a midi clip hahahaha but the plugin list is a pretty bad offender too, but at least you can sort that one.

@DylanTallchief could you foresee splice’s SoCo (or something like it) being an actual DAW? There’s something kinda fascinating about the liveloop/sample-matching algorithms they’re using. It’s stuck in mobile app form at the moment but the implications are interesting 🤔
