@esaoperations 🤩I watched this spectacular bright fireball from Königswinter on the banks of the Rhine for 12 sec. It left a white trail in the sky and a small circular white cloud after exploding in 6 seconds. Luminous debris separated below and were visible for 2 seconds. It was fascinating!

@ESA_fr 🤩J'ai vu cette spectaculaire boule de feu lumineuse depuis Königswinter durant 12 sec. Elle a laissé une traînée blanche dans le ciel et un petit nuage blanc circulaire après avoir explosé au bout de 6 sec. Des débris lumineux se sont séparés en dessous et furent visibles 2 sec.

@ESA_de Ich hatte das Glück diesen spektakulären leuchtenden Feuerball von Königswinter am Rheinufer aus zu sehen. Er hinterließ eine weiße Spur am Himmel und eine kleine kreisförmige weiße Wolke nachdem er explodiert war. Leuchtende Trümmer trennten sich darunter für 2 Sek. Faszinierend

Am 8.3.26 um 18:55 wurde ein leuchtender Feuerball in einigen Regionen in DE, FR, BE, LUX & NL gesehen. Wenigstens ein Haus in Koblenz-Güls wurde von kleinen Meteoritenteilen getroffen.
Unser Planetary Defense Team schätzt das Objekt auf eine Größe von wenigen Metern. 👇
