Finally, my OSS journey was inspired and motivated by my belief in the mission & vision of @BrianGoetz & the JSR 335 expert group to get lambdas into Java. Thank you for leading & delivering in Java 8 & continuing the mission of improving Java thru Amber, Panama & Valhalla. 🙏 4.

For me, this journey started almost 18 years ago in London. I was a Smalltalk developer who believed he could teach Java developers to learn to love coding as much as I do. I’m thankful for the support of my friend @zakhav along the way. 🙏 3/

Thinking about blogging about collection types available in @EclipseCollect but not found in the JDK today. I love mind maps for organizing my thoughts so I powered up @astah_en and started visualizing. Will focus the blog on lesser known HashingStrategy & MultiReader types.
