If SDS doesn’t move Tatis to the free agent section we raise hell. Taking him out of packs means his price will keep going higher and higher until he hits 1 mil and Randy becomes extremely difficult to get. I’m confident they will move him

Sure. IKF is a below average MLB player But he has the ability to put his bat on the bat. Joey Gallo does not IKF has an embarrassing 12 game hitting streak. But he's knocked in 10 runs. Some of them clutch Gallo useless with runners on. And has 9 RBI since June 14th

@BillShaikin Expensive travel ball teams and buy expensive equipment, not to mention spending every weekend traveling and paying hotel fees. Many people cannot afford to do this, and it alienates a large portion of the baseball population

@BillShaikin The issue isnt "analytics" (which seems to be the common out for any baseball fan mentioning a baseball problem over the age of 50), it's quite simply the money. Baseball used to be a game that anyone could play, and while it still is, the only way to get scouted is to play on

Tony Clark says youth baseball development these days (travel ball) is broken. It makes money and produces players that throw hard and hit the ball far but do not necessarily know how to play the game.
