@FoolishBB it doesn’t but that’s hopefully thinking. i’m ngl bailey i think this is the end of non rigged sporting events like we will never be sure that a player isn’t throwing the game for money bc it’s so easy to get paid for it now. sad sad times

What makes Polymarket worse than the sportsbooks is lack of regulation and profit incentive. I can at least trust that outlier betting patterns will unearth insider trading on DK or FD. They stand to lose money if there's an information gap. But not Polymarket. It's rife with it.

@RealBenTriller And that's the thing really. The sportsbooks have all the incentive to cooperate with the feds and find player props that are being manipulated, because they lose money when that happens. But not on prediction markets, where the "bettors" themselves set the odds.

If Baldwin really is a true ~130 wRC+ guy going forward, it’s 1.) a massive win for Braves player development on a 3rd round pick and 2.) a massive win for roster construction because developing your own middle of the order bat makes life 1000% easier
