
As part of the prestigious Prajaa Paalana – Pragathi Pranaalika (99 Days Programme), Children’s Road Safety Day (Day-3) was observed with remarkable fervour through a large-scale awareness initiative organized by the Toopran Police Department.
The programme was graced by eminent dignitaries including Sri S Chandrashekhar Reddy, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Multi-Zone-I; Smt. Prathima Singh, IAS, @Collector_MDK; and Sri D. V. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Medak, whose presence underscored the importance of safeguarding young lives on the roads.
Distinguished public representatives and officials also marked their presence, including Smt. Bondi Rajani Ravindar Goud, Municipal Chairperson, Toopran, and Smt. Kokkonda Samatha Kasi Reddy, Vice-Chairperson. Among the esteemed attendees were Sri Jaya Chandra Reddy, RDO Toopran; Sri J. Narendar Goud, DSP Toopran; Sri A. Chandrashekhar Reddy, Tahsildar, Toopran; Sri Ranga Krishna, CI Toopran; Sri Ganga Raju, Kum. N Jyothi, and Sri B Yadagiri Sub-Inspectors of Toopran, along with other police officials and personnel. Representing the Mandal Education Department, Dr. Parvathi Satyanarayana, Mandal Educational Officer, Toopran, also actively participated in the programme.
A defining highlight of the event was the formation of a mass human chain by nearly 400 students, sending a powerful and unified message on road safety. The initiative not only reflected the collective commitment of the community but also instilled a sense of responsibility among young citizens to become ambassadors of road safety.
The Toopran Police Department expressed its heartfelt appreciation to the citizens of Toopran for their wholehearted cooperation, and extended special thanks to the electronic and print media for their invaluable role in amplifying this vital public safety message.
