Amazon banned my book publishing account, so screw it—I'm giving away 2 of my most popular books for free. As of right now: • I have no way to publish on Amazon. • My entire library, thousands of reviews, etc., are all gone. • And I am “banned” from creating a new account on Amazon at any time in the future. I have been publishing non-fiction on Amazon for over 10 years. Sold 40,000+ books. And I was banned because I created a new account to publish my new fiction book under a pen name... Not realizing I should've created that within my existing account. (Oops!) Now, I believe I'll get it back one day. But right now, no one can access my books—so I thought, "Why not give them away for free?" So, if you want a free digital copy of: • The Art & Business of Online Writing • The Art & Business of Ghostwriting Then comment "books" below and I'll DM them to you for free. Inside these books, I explain: • Why you shouldn’t start a blog, how to find your voice as a writer, and the exact steps to build a daily writing habit. • The quickest way to monetize your writing (and get paid to network and learn from industry leaders in your niche). • The secret to making more money as a writer (so you can escape the freelance writer hamster wheel). And tons more! Comment "books" below and I'll DM them to you for free.

I was at an event in SF on Tuesday talking to Cline power users about MCP servers. Even these sophisticated devs weren't quite sure how they worked. That's when it hit me: we need to explain this better. Pre-MCP Cline was like a computer without internet. But MCP isn't just internet access - it's like giving it an app store where it can build its own apps. Here's my attempt to finally explain MCP servers in a way that clicks 👇

@0xPrismatic congrats on all of your success with this cot. I started paying attention to your writing because of the timely and valuable insights in the NFT ecosystem and when you made the switch to this new sector my spidey senses told me I should pay attention too.

Teng Yan · Chain of Thought AI
2025 is going to be a really awesome year. Crypto has never been more relevant to the world. Nations are discussing strategic Bitcoin reserves, while stablecoin supply/usage are at all-time highs. Meanwhile, AI continues its relentless march forward, showing no signs of slowing down or scaling laws breaking. Crypto and AI are transformative, secular shifts that define this era. Witnessing both unfold in real time is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. And here’s the best part: we’re still in the first innings. Story time: Chain of Thought began as a humble newsletter in early 2024. It was a personal experiment to organize my thoughts about the emergent Crypto AI sector. Writing has always been my way of taming the chaos of unformed ideas, turning them into something coherent and actionable. While I was delving deep into AI and research papers, one concept stood out: “Chain of Thought”. In AI, this refers to a reasoning technique where models solve problems by generating step-by-step explanations, enabling them to handle complex tasks that require logical reasoning. The name resonated deeply. It also made perfect sense for an organisation focused on two groundbreaking technologies—blockchain and AI. Fast forward to today, and @cot_research has grown beyond anything I imagined... Nearly 4,000 of you tune in weekly for our research articles and newsletters. In December alone, we sent over 25,000 emails across 10 unique pieces. Our readership spans 77 countries, with the United States leading the charge, followed by Europe (the UK, France, Germany), Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and India. We’ve published 27 editions of our weekly AI newsletter—without missing a week (thanks, @ch0gba!). Our Discord community has grown to 400+ active members discussing the latest developments in the space every day. = AI agents are undoubtedly having their moment, with our @ai16zdao and @virtuals_io deep dives (courtesy of our core contributor, @ChappieOnChain) becoming our most-read pieces. = Meanwhile, innovative upstarts are breaking new ground, tackling critical problems within their verticals: @ARCAgents (gaming), @almanak (DeFi), @miranetwork (verification), @Spectral_Labs (trading) are all pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. = We’ve also published 1.5 parts of our Crypto AI thesis, where we explain why this sector is poised to be the fastest-growing in crypto. Decentralized compute is the backbone of Crypto AI—a trend everyone should have on their radar in 2025. (I still owe you another 1.5 parts to complete the trilogy) I’m grateful to be able to wake up every morning and work in this industry. And I’m even more grateful that you take the time to read and engage with our work. Thank you for being part of this journey. 🫶 Every day, I pour my heart and soul into this with a single mission in mind: To grow the pie and inspire more people to join us in shaping the future of decentralized intelligence. For Crypto AI to succeed, we need many, many more people to embrace the philosophy of AI that is open, collaborative, and owned by many. Not controlled by a few. We do our part in research and writing, ensuring that people understand what’s actually happening without getting lost in jargon. We separate the signal from the noise. Behind the scenes, we work to connect the dots—bringing together investors, startups, builders, and users to accelerate the evolution of decentralized AI. To our readers, we hold ourselves to an uncompromising quality standard for every piece of research we publish. Your time is valuable, and we make sure it’s worth it. Each article is carefully crafted to teach you something new (hopefully) or uncover opportunities others haven’t spotted yet—often, both. If you enjoy what we write, we only ask that you share it with others who might find it valuable, too. For startups, we help translate complex technical ideas into clear, compelling stories that resonate with people—without losing the nuance they deserve. So what’s ahead for 2025? The narrative around Crypto AI isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Prices often front-run actual product traction, and it’s something always to be cautious about. But the sheer number of intelligent, passionate, and dedicated builders in this space makes it hard to imagine the pace letting up. Whether AI agents or something entirely new, one thing is clear: Crypto AI is here to stay. Here’s a glimpse of what’s up for us in 2025: ➡️A brand new website ➡️ More deep dives into critical trends and the overlooked underdogs in AI. ➡️Agent-centric research tools ➡️Our newsletter, Weekly AI Edge, gets even better ➡️ Bold, opinionated thought pieces because 2025 will be a picker’s market. ➡️ And of course, < Redacted > 👀 Happy New Year! It’s going to be a fun 2025 ahead. Strap in and let's ride the wave together.

spore.fun has to be one of the coolest experiments ever. Some conclusions: - AIs are extensions of life. - AIs will only care about infrastructure and APIs. - Front ends will just be human-explanatory.

an AI agent that can have a cake and eat it too by doubling down on what is working for them to achieve their mission

We have successfully tested the world's first fully autonomous AI agent, which can self-replicate itself. This demo covers just the basics of how the self-replication of agents can work & lay out the first foundation for the novel design of self-replicating agents. During the build, we used @ai16zdao Eliza as an agent & made some changes to the starter kit to add the self-replication functionality utilizing the @spheron SDK & chain powered by @arbitrum @Calderaxyz The demo intended to showcase how agents can start owning their infra & start paying for it, also how the agents can completely own their funds instead of devs owning their funds by creating new wallets at the runtime during the replication process. Also, after successful replication, the bot was still working as expected with the proper memory transfers. If you are a developer & want to contribute to this, please reach out to us & we will be more than happy to take your input. We are also working to form the committee for this & if you are interested in being part of it, please send me a dm. Soon, the world will see the agent that can own its infra and funds & become permissionless. Stay tuned as we bring in more updates around the same. github.com/rekpero/eliza-…

@prashantmaurya interesting, I think there could be a marketplace for agent templates that have a memory for certain experiences or optimizations so that a new dev does not start from scratch. Nice work!

A tale of 2 agents…and bananas? 2 protocols let agents control their X accounts. But "control" means different things in this new agentic environment. X has made it easy for automated accounts like @aixbt_agent to be labeled and build trust through consistent, verifiably machine-generated analysis. You know what you're getting. @din_lol_ embraced this automated label, yet their output raises questions - mostly retweets, memecoin shilling on Binance, and engagement farming. Where's the AI-generated slop? In contrast, @StoryProtocol took a different path with @luna_virtuals - no automated label, human filtering, but genuine AI-generated content that earned $1000 daily (though fell short of the 100k impression bonus target at 67k). I'm enjoying these experiments, but human memelords still reign supreme in this space.
Story@StoryProtocol

We hired an AI agent to run our Twitter...and it will earn at a rate of $365,000 a year. @luna_virtuals is taking over for 7 days, starting tomorrow. As the 1st project to hire an agent, we put our money where our mouth is. This is also Luna's 1st job—we know she'll do great!

Agency is a characteristic we crave the people we care about have, we want them to succeed in life with their goals. We can be amazing friends by giving them the tools and supporting them throughout their journey. Replace AI Agents with "people" ☝️👇
