@KillAuDeepState Why are you so obsessed with wanting to join foreign wars?
Australia first not America First.
English

@Holly_Da Sorry to burst your bubble, but support for a foreign country is not a pre-requisite to become AUSTRALIAN of the year.

Questions we still don’t have the answers to:
Why did the AFL take out any reference to the Jewish community from the Bondi massacre tribute?
Who was the “AFL staffer” responsible for doing such a thing?
Has the “AFL staffer” been reprimanded in any way, shape or form for doing such a thing?
Is the culture at the AFL so rotten that in order to succeed/move up within the organisation, you need to hold hostile views towards Jews?
English

@bailseydog You're lying, zero chance this happened.
English

@xcCameron_ @ausvstheagenda "Ethnic Australians".
WTF is an ethnic Australian lmao. There is no such thing.
English

@ausvstheagenda "We are all Australians"
way to shit on all ethnic Australians on Day 1 of your leadership you flog
English

@RedEaglePatriot Yeah, and Trump won Texas by like 6 in 2020 compared to 14 in 2024.
Not sure why you're insinuating there's zero correlation - there clearly is.
English

Democrats outvoted the GOP in 2020 and 2008 as well btw
Their Senate primary was very expensive and more high profile, let’s not pretend like this is indicative of November
VoteHub@VoteHub
Final VoteHub pre-election turnout estimates for the Texas U.S. Senate primaries: 🔵 Democratic primary: 2.31 million voters 🔴 Republican primary: 2.18 million voters

I've joined @UKLabour. As an environmentalist and left-leaning social democrat, my views are now far closer to Labour than the increasingly radicalised Greens and are much better reflected in the work of people like Ed Miliband and Sadiq Khan than by Zack Polanski or Mothin Ali.

English

@DrewSav Go away Drew.
No longer will the consultant class shame and browbeat Democrats into choosing the establishment candidate.
Whether you like it or not, most people do not care whether he went on a podcast with whoever. If they did, DJT wouldn't be president.
English

Graham Planter needs to drop out. It has become increasingly clear that he is not a good person and should not run for any elected office at all. This stuff keeps happening so we're past coincidence at this point.

@ZachTGR Would genuinely be hilarious seeing the meltdown if Dems win both chambers of the Texas legislature and the governors race and then do a mid-year redistricting gerrymander themselves and draw up like 20 seats for themselves.
You'd probs see a Texas Jan 6, would be glorious.
English

@DjokovicFan_ It's 15 degrees, what "extreme cold" LOL.
And wind is gusting at 20 KMPH.
If you're going to lie, do a better job next time.

English

@joannamrod @MaryPeltola ur a stupid cuban ho, gtfo and go back to cuba
English

@MaryPeltola Announcing at 4am Alaska time so you can announce for start of business in DC is quite literally the opposite of Alaska First.
English

@bergtakes @demsocsean There isn't a particularly large pro-Israel segment in a democratic primary for a congressional district in San Fran...
English

@demsocsean Idk but I think it’s maybe one of the dumbest political moves I’ve seen in recent memory. He loses all his pro Israel support and gains little to none in return. The pro Palestine folks all think he’s lying. Plus he looks softer than baby shit for folding like this
English

would love leaked internal polling on what he saw that made him do this
Senator Scott Wiener@Scott_Wiener
For years, I’ve condemned Netanyahu and his extremist government and the devastation they’ve inflicted on Gaza. It’s why I’ve been clear I won’t support U.S. funding for the destruction of Palestinian communities. I’ve stopped short of calling it genocide, but I can’t anymore.
English

@itscarterhughes Elizabeth Warren is 80, was a professor for like 30 years. She's advised multiple commissions.
Oh, and she's been a Senator for nearly a decade. Imagine thinking a net worth of $12 million is somehow crazy.
You have a tiny brain.
English

My bad... it was off by 800 votes.
Gotta just laugh on how much of a partisan hack you are.
There's a reason most of your predictions when Trump is not on the ballot have been awful.
2022 midterms and 2025 off-year stand out. But whenever you're wrong, it's actually some other mysterious factor at play.

English

“TN-07 had midterm level turnout”
The last Trump Midterm had 75K more voters show up in that district. So, no, it did not.
PA-18 was a megafluke in 2018 despite having much higher midterm turnout than the previous midterm.
Midterm turnout is an irrelevant benchmark, if anything it indicates higher turnout than usual in 2026, which is going to probably benefit Rs overall given the circumstances.
English

@NicholasTyrone Anyone trained in economics could tell you he is indeed right. Sure, he doesn't use the most technical terms, but he's right.
Trust the "neoliberal" dad to have no clue what he's talking about (to be expected from someone who makes "neoliberal" a character trait).
English

Polanski has no idea whatsoever about what he’s talking about here.
BBC Politics@BBCPolitics
“I’m talking about borrowing for… investment” Green leader Zack Polanski defends his plans to increase borrowing and says the “trust of the public” is more important than markets when it comes to managing the UK's debt and spending #BBCLauraK bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00…
English

@NoLuckLopez Then perhaps the solution here would be to also establish a state-owned construction company to build the apartments, townhouses etc in combination with purchasing large blocks of land in such areas.
English

@ElectionLeft I agree with the pitch but it’s important to note the council areas you’re talking about have the highest approvals of any LGAs in the state. They’re not NIMBYs. The problem isn’t planning regulation but the market.
English

@NoLuckLopez My most unhinged version of this would be to use eminent domain (unsure of the exact laws in Vic in this area, so might need to pass new legislation), and just force sales - although there are enough already on the market to make a start.
