Recently, I experienced back pain for the first time in over a year. I did not miss it. It's crazy what a small reminder of what my life used to be like regularly can do to motivate you so it never happens again.

There is something about it being Sunday, going to the gym first thing and then getting home to do some chores, shower and getting into new clothes that are comfortable. I have no plans for the rest of the day but I feel good.

Today I passed my second weight loss goal. I'm just shy of having lost 40kg since I started down this path. My next weight loss goal is the loss of another 15.5kg. Nearly 1/3rd of what I've already lost again. It's not going to be quick but I will get there.

With AppleTV picking up Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn Series I’m considering picking up the books ahead of the new shows/movies I enjoyed his handling of the end of Wheel of Time. Is Mistborn a good read?
