Missouri 5th amendment to end the income tax is a scam. I'm glad to see so many people on both sides of the aisle recognizing how harmful it really is. If it passes, sales tax will be absolutely brutal.

@OberonLoto Projections are not a budget. You can project all the growth you want, but the bills still come due immediately. If the income tax disappears, what replaces that revenue on day one? "Trust Republicans" is not math. It's propaganda.

@ExitVelo314 You have to start based on projections. Republicans do NOT want to raise taxes. Republicans are not in for trickery or stupidity…they will lose their jobs if taxes aren’t lowered. How much business can a no tax state bring in? Those are projections. That’s how goals are set.

One thing that not enough people were recognizing about Fedde to start 2025 was that all the expected results said it was unsustainable. He had a 3.86 ERA after the CG, but his 4.14 FIP, 5.19 xFIP, 15 K%, 10.9 BB%, and the kind of contact he was giving us with not good. May could obviously regress, but his current results aren’t significantly outpacing what the expected numbers say 3.75 ERA, 3.01 FIP, 3.70 xFIP, 22.8 K%, 6.4 BB%.

@GustaStl60863 I should have worded that better. You expect more offense and less range from a third baseman than a shortstop in general. Masyn will have plus range at either spot. The bat is the question with him.

Yes, let's take a guy who can't even hit league average, who is only known for his defense, and move that guy to a position where you expect more offense and less range. I can't believe people used to think this clown was an insider. #stlcards

@ExitVelo314 It's not unique to the NL this year. League-wide in 2026, 3B has a 95 wRC+, SS has a 92 wRC+. But, in 2025, league-wide was 3B at 93 and SS at 98. In 2024, league-wide was 3B at 95 and SS at 100. So the AL is really bucking the trend this year in general.
