@johnrabe @mmg49072 @OnlyCardsFans He would overreact to things, but as I saw it, he was dealing with a lot and the Cardinals were a major distraction from it. So, if his expectations for them seemed a bit unreasonable, it was because he needed them so much.

I discovered that Scott passed away 2 days after this post. Scott was a loyal Cardinals fan who told me often of his love for his kids and grandkids. Condolences to his family. RIP. obituaries.austinchronicle.com/obituary/gary-…

Just wanted to share that I reached my initial weight goal yesterday morning. It was very exciting to be under 200 lbs for the first time since the late 80’s. Now I’m going to shoot for 180 and I think that’s it. Maintaining is now the main goal. #SpeedoSeason #SkinnyCM

@dan_eversole I remember Johncock beating Mears by less than a second in ‘82. Back then they didn’t show the race until late in the evening! It’s crazy to even imagine that. My dude almost got killed about ten times in races and is still kicking now at nearly 90.

@dan_eversole Wow! I went to Butler for a year, and I’ve visited the track and been around it on the tour, but never gotten to see the race. Bucket list

I don’t watch much racing, but I always have a soft spot for the Indy 500, since I was a kid watching it on tape delay (that’s how they used to do it) on ABC. It means summer is truly here. And man, that was the greatest finish I’ve ever seen.

@johnrabe Yeah, I’m mad too. That stated, being mad on May 23 is a million times better than the indifference I had over the last two or three years of the Mozeliak experience. Not an excuse, but at least now I care and invested.
