NEWS 📰 REGARDING BHP 🏈 From Mary Boarts, Principal at Belton-Honea Path: The @SCHSL has completed a thorough review of the incident at the State Championship game. A number of student-athletes were found to have participated in actions not consistent with our values of sportsmanship and respect. In response to these actions, individual consequences have been assigned to the students involved. In addition, the League has imposed several program-wide sanctions on our football program for the upcoming season. We want to highlight the most significant sanctions: -A financial penalty charged to the athletic department. All playoff games must be played at the opponent's school, not at our home field. We fully support the league's decision as we work together to promote sportsmanship and integrity in our athletic programs. We are committed to maintaining a positive athletic environment that reflects the values of BHP.
